Victoriaplatz and Schillerplatz pumping stations - pressure test successfully completed

In January 2023, we were awarded the contracts for the construction of 2 new district heating pumping stations at Schillerplatz and Victoriaplatz in Düsseldorf with a throughput of 1,100 cubic metres of district heating water per hour and promised to complete the work in time for the start of UEFA EURO 2024.

After almost 12 months of smooth project execution, we have now completed the pipework with the successful pressure test and are therefore fully on track!

ETABO's scope of work includes the detailed engineering as well as the delivery and installation of all equipment (e.g. pumps, pipework and fittings, EMSR, ventilation equipment).

With these successfully completed orders, ETABO is once again consolidating its position as an expert in the construction of district heating facilities such as extraction, transmission and storage of heat as well as pressure boosting systems, thereby making a significant contribution to reducing emissions through the utilisation of waste heat.
