So we had a brief exchange and a date was found for the handover.
A total of 19 satchels were collected by the children for the donation campaign and everyone was very passionate about the subject. The lovingly filled school bags are also provided with personal messages; the little recipients will certainly be very happy about this.
It's nice that many children already show such great social commitment. Some adults could learn a thing or two from this ???? .

Satchels against poverty
Where there is poverty, people first spend their money on food. If there is anything left over, they buy clothes or medicine. There is no money left for school equipment for the children. So children grow up illiterate and have little hope that their lives will ever change.
And what does ETABO do?
Jeanette Krippendorf registered ETABO as a collection point for GAIN on 11.07.2019 and since then all colleagues of ETABO have been involved: We have diligently collected used satchels, donated money, called for donations in kind, cleaned and prepared satchels, put together material, filled the satchels and stored them in Bochum.
From GAIN, about 4-5 transports with relief goods go all over the world per week and, as already in 2019, transports will also go to Ukraine

Take a used, immaculate school bag and fill it with everything a schoolchild needs (value: 10 to 30 euros). In this way, give people hope for a better future, e.g. in India, Iraq, Latvia or Ukraine.
Not only for school enrolment or when changing schools: The school bag campaign is a long-term project. GAIN regularly sends the satchels with aid transports to their project countries.
